Napoli vs Red Bull Salzburg: Champions League prediction, LIVE stream, which TV channel, how to watch online

Napoli can take a giant step towards qualifying for the Champions League knockout stages when they welcome Red Bull Salzburg to Naples on Tuesday night.

The Partenopei are top of Group E with seven points from their three games so far, having beaten holders Liverpool in their group stage opener.

And Carlo Ancelotti's side put in a stellar performance to beat Salzburg at the Red Bull Arena last time out, with Dries Mertens scoring two fine goals in a 3-2 victory.

As ever, the free-scoring Austrian champions will pose a threat in front of goal, led by star men Erling Braut Haaland and Takumi Minamino.

The Serie A outfit can seal their place in the last-16 if they beat Salzburg and, ahead of a tough trip to Anfield to face Liverpool on Matchday 5, Ancelotti will be relying on his side to get the job done.

Prediction: Napoli 3-1 Salzburg

As Napoli demonstrated in Austria two weeks ago, they are blessed with a potent strikeforce in Dries Mertens, Lorenzo Insigne and Arkadiusz Milik and can beat anyone on their day.

Their home record in Europe is impeccable - they have won seven of their last eight encounters at the San Paolo - and will surely be too strong for Salzburg's leaky defence.
