Napoli held Barcelona to a 1-1 draw in Italy on Tuesday night that leaves their Champions League Round of 16 tie finely poised.
The Serie A side made a defensive start to the game but took the lead against the run of play when Dries Mertens curled home a sensational finish past Marc-André ter Stegen.
But Barcelona dominated possession throughout and levelled the score through Antoine Griezmann who converted Nelson Semedo’s low cross.
The away goal means Barcelona will be the favourites to progress to the last eight when the sides reconvene at the Camp Nou.
