Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis' hilarious response amid Maurizio Sarri to Juventus links

Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis has given his thoughts on rumours linking Chelsea head coach Maurizio Sarri with a return to Italy in the near future.

Less than a year ago, Sarri parted company with the Serie A outfit as he took up a position at Stamford Bridge, succeeding fellow Italian Antonio Conte - who won two trophies in two years at the club - in the process.

And rumours are rife that Sarri could be replacing another compatriot, this time at Juventus.

It was confirmed last Friday that Massimiliano Allegri - despite having a year remaining on his contract - will leave the Serie A champions following the conclusion of their domestic season this weekend.

Where the 51-year-old goes next still remains to be seen, but a number of Blues supporters made their thoughts clear on Twitter, believing Allegri could very well be heading to Stamford Bridge this summer.

Ironically, the current Chelsea head coach Sarri - along with Lazio's Simeone Inzaghi and Tottenham Hotspur's Mauricio Pochettino - has been touted as Allegri's successor.

This has prompted De Laurentiis to weigh in on the matter and his response was typically interesting.

"Sarri in black and white? It certainly wouldn't surprise me," De Laurentiis told Sky Italia."After what happened with Gonzalo Higuain, I'm not surprised at all anymore.

"Indeed, I think it would be fun."

De Laurentiis has never been short of giving a few words back to Sarri over his exit from the Serie A side and that has continued throughout the season.
