Napoli defender Elseid Hysaj says he wants to leave the club in the summer transfer window following speculation over his future.
The 25-year-old right back had been linked with a move to join Manchester United last November, and could once again be tipped for a move to Old Trafford following his latest comments.
United are in the market for a versatile full back in the summer transfer window as manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer looks to strengthen his defence and address the issues of last season.
Albania international Hysaj is one player who could fit the bill at United, and he admits that he will look for a new challenge in the coming weeks having spent the previous four seasons at Napoli.
“I’m absolutely ready for a new challenge because I need change,” he told Digitalb.
“I’m not the type of person who likes to stay at a club for too long. I want to have new experiences, learn about a new country, meet new people, play for another team and maybe try to win something.
“For me, my time at Napoli is over and I hope to find a team that will give me what I need.”
