Napoli chairman Aurelio De Laurentiis offers Everton transfer latest on Allan

Napoli chairman Aurelio De Laurentiis has confirmed the transfer of Allan to Everton is running smoothly.

Allan arrived in England yesterday to undertake a medical after saying farewell to friends in Italy the previous night.

De Laurentiis told reporters this afternoon that he remains unsure if all parts of the deal have been signed off but he has been given the green-light by lawyers working for Napoli.

“Allan at Everton? Ask [CEO, Andrea] Chiavelli and [sporting director, Cristiano] Giuntoli," De Laurentiis said as translated by Sport Witness. "I need to check if all the cards are okay.

“The lawyer told me the papers are okay, but I don’t know if he’s signed yet.”

Everton made a breakthrough in transfer talks with Napoli over the weekend and will seal a £22m deal for the 29-year-old Brazilian international who has previously worked with Carlo Ancelotti in Italy.
