Naperville fitness trainer finds love in 'Bachelor in Paradise' finale

Sept. 08--Vacation's over for Naperville fitness trainer Justin Reich, but he got a souvenir from his trip to "paradise."

Reich, 28, asked makeup artist Cassandra Ferguson if she would be willing to continue their relationship after leaving a Mexican resort, and she agreed in Monday's episode of "Bachelor in Paradise." Former "Bachelor" and "Bachelorette" contestants have been trying to find love for weeks on the show, which aired its Season 2 finale Monday.

"I just feel like the luckiest girl," said Ferguson, 23, who was eliminated in Season 18 of "The Bachelor" by Juan Pablo Galavis.

It appears the romance was short-lived. After the finale aired Monday night, Ferguson posted on Twitter that she is now with Jonathan Holloway, another "Bachelor in Paradise" contestant. Reich told the Tribune in a message that he and Ferguson are "just friends."

The future for Reich and Ferguson looked uncertain early in the episode when Ferguson said she didn't want to spend the night with Reich in a "fantasy suite."

"I'm not sure if I'm ready to commit at this point," said Ferguson, a former Detroit Pistons dancer.

Reich and Ferguson were not the only couple in the finale who agreed to continue dating after the show. Jade Roper and Tanner Tolbert got engaged and Samantha Steffen and Nick Peterson decided to stay together. Tenley Molzahn and Joshua Albers broke up.
