Naomi Campbell expected to return to work in weeks after becoming a mum at 50

Naomi Campbell is expected to return to work shortly, after becoming a new mum aged 50.

The supermodel has a string of projects in the pipeline and sources say she is likely to be back within “two to three weeks” with her baby girl in tow.

One added: “She’s an incredibly hard working person who won’t want to completely take her foot off the pedal.”

As well as running her YouTube channel, Naomi is passionate about her charity event Fashion For Relief.

The source said: “She’ll probably be active within the next few weeks, with some visibility somewhere.

“But she’s focused on enjoying this moment and has been telling friends how sweet her new daughter is."

“She isn’t making any commitments, as she will want to cherish this precious time. But knowing Naomi, she will have lots of exciting plans up her sleeve.” On Tuesday, the star revealed she had become a mum and released a photo of her holding her baby’s feet.

Naomi, who turns 51 tomorrow, said: “A beautiful little blessing has chosen me to be her mother.

“So honoured to have this gentle soul in my life. There is no greater love.”

Just hours later she told viewers of her No Filter series she felt “honoured and humbled” to become a mother.

The Londoner added she would soon be taking a break from the show, which she was still filming last week.

In 2017, she said science could help fulfil her dream of motherhood.

In the 90s, Naomi dated U2 bassist Adam Clayton and Italian tycoon Flavio Briatore, with other flings following, but her current status is unknown.

There have been reports claiming the catwalk queen is single and also dating a mystery man.
