Nani and Patrice Evra send funny Soccer Aid video message to Gary Neville and Paul Scholes

Nani and Patrice Evra have warned their former Manchester United teammates Gary Neville and Paul Scholes about flying into robust challenges at Soccer Aid on Sunday night!

Returning to Old Trafford for the annual charity showdown, Nani and Evra have been named in the World XI squad with ex-England internationals Neville and Scholes representing the home team. It's sure to be another blockbuster event with so many star names on show combining the sporting and celebrity worlds.

Nani and Evra will be captained by record-breaking Jamaican sprinter and self-confessed United supporter - Usain Bolt - with other glittering names such as Roberto Carlos, Francesco Totti and Gabriel Batistuta in their side. Newly-appointed Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino is their coach.

As for England, meanwhile, Class of 92 heroes Neville and Scholes are joined by comedian Paddy McGuinness and actor Danny Dyer with other ex-footballers including Jermain Defoe, Jack Wilshere and women's Euro 2022 winner, Jill Scott, while Stormzy, Emma Hayes, Vicky McClure, Harry Redknapp and David Seaman are their coaches.

Getting underway at 7.30pm on Sunday night, there are certain to be plenty of thrills and spills for a great cause as always, but Nani (LN) and Evra (PE) mean business! Here's what they said in a hilarious pre-match video message to Neville and Scholes as taken from Instagram;

PE: "Hi guys. Gary Neville and Scholesy! Can't wait to see you tomorrow at Old Trafford. Home sweet home."

LN: "No beers tonight!"

PE: "No beers, no fish and chips."

LN: "Be careful with the tackles tomorrow."

At that stage, the two burst into laughter before signing off and declaring their love for the former teammates. As always, reporters from Manchester Evening News will be covering the charity match and it will also be screened on ITV1 with coverage getting underway from 6.30pm on Sunday night.
