Nando's has revealed a firm fan's favourite will be returning to its menus.
The popular chicken restaurant chain says its Fino Pitta is coming back after 19 long months.
It follows huge demand from fans after the dish vanished from menus in March 2020, 2Chill reports.
The much-loved meal will be available in all restaurants across the UK from November 2.
It follows scores of calls on social media for the pitta to make a comeback, with 3,200 requests.
One fan took to Twitter saying: “Day 40 of asking @NandosUK to add Fino Pitta back to the menu.”
It consists of a toasted pitta, filled with two flame-grilled chicken thighs, grilled halloumi cheese, caramelised red onion relish and wild garlic aioli, topped with lettuce.

The Afro-Portuguese inspired and South African born chain teased out the news of its return in October, along with details of the eagerly-awaited festive menu which will feature PERI-PERI Gravy and the Spiced Clementine PERI-PERI baste.
This Christmas, Nando’s is also introducing a brand-new festive cider called SXOLLIE, a sustainable Southern African-based cider with hints of toffee apple.
The brand has been added to the menu as it’s in line with Nando’s values, being both environmentally-conscious and committed to mentoring young people and supporting economic growth in Nando’s homeland of South Africa.
The Rainbow Rice Bowl, a favourite among plant-based diners, has also undergone a revamp with a new-and-improved recipe of warmed spiced grains and long-stem broccoli with hummus, rainbow slaw, pickled golden carrot and a sprinkle of seeds.
But these plant-based menu additions are not the only indication of Nando’s commitment to bringing the heat “to the plate, not the planet,” as it also announced it is now 100% carbon neutral with every meal served at its branches being carbon negative.
This is the first step in the chain’s plan to reach Net Zero by 2030 which it committed to in the spring.
Nando’s brand-new menu will be available to diners in all UK restaurants along with delivery and click and collect.
