Being without Nando’s during lockdown has been hard on all of us, right? Almost as difficult as not seeing our friends and family. Even though we’ve tried to recreate the classic chicken dish at home, it hasn’t been the same.
Some restaurants have started to re-open for delivery only but if your local hasn’t yet, fear not as Nando’s have launched a new flavour of PERinaise that might just keep you going.
The high street chicken shop has created Garlic PERinaise - a welcomed new addition to the PERinaise range. It has the same mout-watering smooth and creamy PERinaise taste but now with an added garlicky kick.
Available in supermarkets now, Nando’s new Garlic PERinaise comes in 265g bottles as well as bigger 465g bottles for those who simply can’t get enough, and is available to purchase in ASDA, Sainsbury’s and Iceland, with further UK supermarkets rolling out over the summer months.
This latest addition which has been added to the fan-favourite line up will be sold at an RRP of £1.85 for 265g, and £2.95 for 465g but will vary from store to store.
Garlic PERinaise joins Nando’s PERinaise range, with Mild, Hot and Vegan alternatives also available to purchase, making PERinaise the number one flavoured mayonnaise on the market.
PERinaise fans can dip, cover and smother their Nando’s deliveries and make-shift meals in mayo whilst at home in lockdown and beyond.
Personally, we’re all about dipping pizza crusts in it and have been known to drizzle it over salads too. Maybe even use it as spread in a sandwich?
And if you’re lucky enough to have a Nando’s open near you, this new sauce will be a delight with your next portion of PERi PERi chips… Mmmmm.
Some Nando's restaurants are currently operating behind closed doors exclusively for delivery through Deliveroo, and will not be offering eat in or collect service at this time. The menu will be reduced to help the team maintain social distancing in the kitchen and food prep areas, but fear not as the majority of Nando’s favourites such as PERi-PERi chicken wings, halloumi and chips will now be available to enjoy at home. YAY.
