Nando's is giving away free chicken for GCSE students today

Nando's is giving away free chicken to students collecting their GCSE results today.

To help ease the anxiety often associated with exam results, the chicken chain is handing out free quarter chickens and Fire-starters to GCSE students regardless of their age.

To claim the free food, students must show restaurant staff a valid results slip from today, August 22, and a form of ID.

The giveaway is an annual affair offered to students by the restaurant chain but this is the first time GCSE students can enjoy the freebies.

Students have taken to Twitter to praise the offer.

@arianastyIes said: "my results sheet may not be able to get me a job but it can get me free nandos chicken so who’s the real winner here"

While teacher @mjaqliffe said: "So yea I reminded my year 11 pupils that Nandos are offering them free chicken tomorrow, and of course all the best of luck...got to celebrate somehow!! #edutwitter #gcseresultsday2019 #education "

However students may be feeling about their results, at least they can indulge in some Peri Peri sauce and free food to celebrate or commiserate.
