As much as we love our classic medium butterfly chicken at Nando's, it's also probably time we branched out.
Which is perfect timing, as Nando's has just announced that it's launching a brand new chicken wrap, that contains a whole host of brand new ingredients.
Whilst it still contains the same tangy chicken as usual, it's been paired with an array of other ingredients never before seen at Nando's - including a black garlic sauce.
Called the Mozam wrap, it's bursting with both colour and flavour, the new, tangy chicken wrap has been inspired by the black, yellow, red and green colours of the Mozambique flag - the birthplace of PERi-PERi - with each ingredient in the wrap reflecting a different colour.
As well as the standard spiced chicken, there's red PERi-PERi sauce, green lettuce black garlic sauce and yellow pineapple and coconut chutney.
Available from today (15 October) in Nando's restaurants all across the country, as well as tasting good, it also does good too, with 50p from each sale going to Nando’s Fighting Malaria.
Nando's originally launched the campaign back in 2017 to help combat the spread of malaria in Mozambique, with the aim of putting an end to the life-threatening but preventable disease.
Further encouraging fans of PERi-PERi into getting messy for a good cause, Nando’s will also be introducing a limited number of giant napkins (and at 48cm by 48cm, we mean giant…) into select UK restaurants, for anyone looking to get stuck into the deliciously messy wrap.
