A woman was rushed to hospital after she was hit by a driver who failed to stop at the scene.
Merseyside Police were called to Wallasey Road, Liscard, at around 7.10pm on November 19 to reports of a collision. A woman in her 60s had been hit by a white car before the driver fled the scene.
The woman's grandson took to Facebook, urging anyone in the Wallasey Road area to check dash cam and CCTV footage of that evening. Merseyside Police have also issued an appeal.

A Merseyside Police spokesperson said: "We can confirm we received a report of a collision involving a pedestrian and a car in Liscard on Saturday November 19.
"It was reported that at around 7.10pm a pedestrian had been involved in a collision with a white car on Wallasey Road, and the driver failed to stop. It was reported that the pedestrian, a woman in her 60s, suffered a slight injury.
