Edinburgh has long been famous for its nightlife, with dozens of iconic bars and nightclubs scattered around the city.
And while our pubs are once again starting to look the way we remember them from those idyllic pre-pandemic days, nightclub reopenings are still a little while away.
March 2020 was the last time an Edinburgh nightspot welcomed punters through the doors, and so many people will be yearning for their return right now.
With a fair wind that may be later in the summer, but in the meantime we're stuck with our hazy memories of nights out gone by.
