Nakuul Mehta takes back his words after trolling Pakistani cricket fans last time; jokes, 'I don't own a TV'

Nakuul Mehta, who is seen as Ram in Bade Achhe Lagte Hain, had to eat his own words after India lost to Pakistan in the cricket match that was held in Dubai on Sunday (September 4).

Last time around after India had won, Nakuul had tweeted, "Dear neighbours, Please DON'T break those TV sets! Rather enjoy my TV show cause cricket mein kya hi rakha hai 😉 #IndVsPak #AsiaCup2022."

However, he had to take his words back after last evening's loss. The actor's witty tweet read, "Stellar chase by the neighbours! I don’t own a TV. FYI."

Netizens didn't spare him for the way he trolled them last time. But Nakuul took it all sportingly.

One user wrote, "Dear neighbour, if saying congratulations Pakistan seems difficult..we will happily take a prayer for everyone affected by the floods instead #PAKvsIND #INDvsPAK #FloodsInPakistan."

Nakuul replied, "Stellar chase ka matlab kuch aur hota aapke neighbourhood mein?" To this, the user wrote back, "It was to get your attention and of everyone reading...Obviously, worked! The second part of the tweet was why I wanted the attention. I'm not really concerned about the match 🙂 #FloodsInPakistan."

Another netizen joked, "TV nahi hai...koi nahi..ghussay may phone mat torna😂." Interestingly, it reminded Nakuul of his character Shivaay Singh Oberoi in Ishqbaaz who would break phones when angry.

Nakuul hilariously replied, "SSO retired in 2019!"

Yet another tweeted, "Was waiting for your tweet sir😂Please don't break the tv.. watch your serial from Monday to Friday! Cricket mein kya rakha hai !😂😂" Nakuul told him, "Switching to American football asap 😅"

Take a look at the fun tweets.
