Naked man seen running through Swansea park and suburb is spoken to by police

A man was spotted running naked through two locations in Swansea, sparking calls to the police.

South Wales Police said they responded to reports of a naked man seen in the west of the city.

One sighting happened at around 6.20pm on Tuesday, August 18, at popular Singleton Park.

One person said they saw a middle aged man minus his clothes in the stream near Brynmill lane.

Police said they received a second report of a sighting of a naked man at around 6.25pm on Tuesday in the Sketty area.

Police said a possible suspect was found, who was given "words of advice". They did not elaborate on what the words of advice might have been.

A spokeswoman for South Wales Police said: "We were called at around 6.50pm yesterday to a report of a sighting of a naked man in Singleton Park which had happened 30 minutes prior to them calling us.

"We received a further call of a naked man at about 6.25pm in Sketty – a possible suspect was identified and given words of advice."
