Naked man charged by cops after being filmed on Aberdeen bus shelter with trousers at his ankles

A man who was filmed naked standing on top of a bus shelter in Aberdeen has been charged with a disturbance.

The 22-year-old was seen on the roof of the bus stop on Union Street in the city centre at around 2am on Wednesday, December 4 .

In a 30-second clip he was spotted with his pants and trousers round his ankles as he waved one hand in the air as he covered his privates with his other.

As he plays to the crowd the male quickly pulls up his briefs on hearing the police car scream up Union Street .

A police officer gets out the car and stops the man in his tracks.

A Police Scotland spokesman said: "We can confirm that a 22-year-old man has been charged in connection with a disturbance on Union Street in Aberdeen around 2.35am on Wednesday, 4 December.

"He has been issued with a fixed penalty notice."
