A couple caught having sex in a lay-by have been handed £400 in Covid fines.
The pair were each fined £200 after police deemed their trip to be unessential.
Officers said the couple were caught having 'late night rumpy pumpy' in their car in Morley near Derby on March 1.
To their embarrassment, the lovers were completely naked when officers looked inside the car and spoiled the romantic mood, reports Staffordshire Live.
They were handed fixed penalty notices for breaching lockdown rules in addition to a warning for cannabis by Derbyshire Police officers.
A spokesperson for the Erewash Response Unit said: "Morley - undisclosed country lay-by.
"Nothing ruins a little bit of late night 'rumpy pumpy' quite like a couple of Covid tickets and a cannabis warning."

The unfortunate tale is the latest in a number of Covid fines dished out to couples found getting intimate after dark.
In February, police in South Derbyshire fined a couple who had met for a tender meeting in a reservoir car park.
A lovestruck boyfriend was also fined after driving 100 miles to have a 'peck in a Peugeot'.
The motorist had met up with his girlfriend at a Derbyshire beauty spot.
In Wales three women were slapped with lockdown breach fines after being caught dyeing their hair in a car park.
Five men had also travelled hundreds of miles from England to party in Swansea, while four others were found inside a pub in the Cardiff suburb of Llandaf.
Police also stopped a car with five occupants - all from different households - who were on their way to a party in Brynmill, Swansea.
