Naked City festival 2019: Neneh Cherry, Moses Boyd and more announced for new London music event

A brand new festival is coming to south east London.

Naked City, a one-day music event, will come to Beckenham Place Park on Saturday July 27.

Neneh Cherry, Ezra Collective, Henry Wu and Moses Boyd are among the biggest names revealed as part of the line-up, which spans jazz, house, disco, drum’n’bass and beyond.

It will be run by Krankbrother, the DJ/producer duo behind another new festival in the capital, Re-Textured.

It’s the first time a music festival will take place at this site, a recently converted golf course in Beckenham.

Organisers described the line-up as “deliberately looking away from the usual headliners dominating the festival scene”, with a “particular emphasis on acts that cut their teeth in the boiling south London music scene.”

How to get tickets to Naked City 2019

Tickets for the festival are priced at £25 and are on sale now. They can be bought here.
