A Russian beauty blogger has been found with her 'throat slit' and stuffed naked in a suitcase following an horrific knife attack.
The 24-year-old, named only as Ekaterina K, was found dead in her flat in Moscow following a suspected jealousy fuelled attack.
Her parents became concerned when Ekaterina stopped answering their phone calls and asked her landlord to check her flat.
Police entered the flat yesterday and found her stuffed in a suitcase after she had suffered several stab wounds.
Officers have launched a manhunt and are investigating if “jealousy” was linked to the crime.
She had recently started a relationship with a 52-year-old man and they were about to go on holiday together, police said.
Before him she was dating a 32-year-old man - but it is not known how long ago they broke up.
No arrests have been reported.
Ekaterina was a doctor specialising in dermatology and sexually transmitted diseases and she worked as a medic in a hospital in the city.
She also wrote a beauty blog and had an Instagram account in the name of Katty with 80,000 followers.
She had been a beauty pageant contestant in Moscow as well as qualifying from the prestigious Pirogov Russian National Research Medical University, say reports.
Her final post was about a trip to Corfu on July 22 - five days before her body was found.
Her Instagram showed her posing in in studios, or during trips, as well as occasional pictures from her day-to-day life.
One showed her graduation as a as a doctor specialising in dermatology and sexually transmitted diseases.
