A Naked Attraction contestant walked off set after seeing a nude woman for the first time.
On the unconventional Channel 4 dating show, contestants choose their next date from an anonymous line-up of naked people in colourful perspex boxes, with their bodies being slowly revealed to them from the feet up.
The contestant picks their final date and gets naked with them before the pair head out on a fully clothed date together.
In a preview clip from the new series, Brian, a 23-year-old man from Kent who has not had sex before, is clearly overwhelmed when presented with the naked women in front of him.
Presenter Anna Richardson asks Brian if he’s OK, adding: “You look like you’re about to faint.”
“I’m sorry, I need a moment, can I have a little moment,” he responds, walking off the set saying: “Apologies, I need to think.”
Brian does then return to the set and faces the rest of the show, describing the situation as “overwhelming… in a good way”.
“Perhaps I needed this, but I just need to let it sink in just a bit,” he said.
Speaking about the show’s first ever walk off, Richardson told the Daily Mail: “A young chap called Brian who is a virgin, a lovely guy, wine connoisseur and proficient musician, felt really faint when he was faced with six naked girls and needed to take time off set and be consoled by producers.”
Naked Attraction first aired in 2016 and has run for six seasons, with the show generating numerous complaints for Ofcom for its presentation of full-frontal nudity on television.
Naked Attraction returns Tuesday 10 November at 10.20pm on Channel 4.
