Naga Munchetty has been dubbed a 'life saver' after posting a candid video from her hospital bed.
The BBC Breakfast host has been showered with praise from adoring fans after she filmed herself donating blood while shaking in fear.
In the video, Naga encourages her followers to do all they can do donate blood to those in need.
Although she was terrified before doing the good deed, Naga said that by 'clenching her bum' and 'taking deep breaths' she managed to get through it.
"Just done this @givebloodnhs with one of favourite blood takers @willflanders and a record time for me of 5 mins 21 secs for approx 0.5l Woo hoo," she captioned the post.

“It is that time again - buttock clenching, leg raising, arm squeezing - giving blood today.
"I am now with Ross who is now used to my skinny veins and makes it absolutely painless.
"I will be up and about after this with my day. So just know, if you want to give blood, you are doing a great thing."
Naga added: "I'll be done. If you can give blood, if you want to give blood, you are doing a good thing. Anyway, see you on BBC Breakfast."

Following her inspirational post, the TV star was showered with praise from followers.
"You're a life-saver," one fan commented.
"This is amazing. I'm going to sign up to donate right now," another added.
"Naga, you never fail to amaze us. Well done for doing this. You're literally a life-saver," someone else echoed.
Meanwhile, a fourth added: "YES! Naga you're inspirational. Love you."

It comes after Naga bravely opened up about 'falling apart' after her injury struggles from running.
Naga, 46, is a keen runner and often documents her 'sweaty pics' on social media.
But the star has revealed she’s suffered a string if injuries recently after pounding the pavements.
"I love running! But I've got Achilles tendinitis and I've dislocated my knee. There's a couple of injuries," she said on BBC Breakfast.
