Nadine Coyle shares emotional tribute to "shining light" Sarah Harding a week on from her death

Sarah Harding's bandmate Nadine Coyle has penned an emotional tribute to the "shining light" a week on from her death.

Girls Aloud singer Sarah tragically died at the age of 39 last Sunday.

She revealed last August that she had been diagnosed with breast cancer, which had spread to other parts of her body.

Her mum Marie announced the death on Instagram and described her "beautiful" daughter as "a bright shining star".

Today bandmate Nadine took to Instagram to post a snaps of the pair smiling and posing in happier times.

She said she was "always" an inspiration and a friend.

She wrote: "One week without you!!

"Thinking of you all day everyday and trying to imagine how your new journey is going.

"Please feel free to come visit me anytime.

"I know lots of people will want some Sarah spirit time so I can wait my turn.

"I hope you now know how much you are loved and how you impacted so many lives by being wholeheartedly yourself.

"Always an inspiration, always a shining light and always my friend."

Girls Aloud was made up of Sarah, Nadine, Cheryl (then Cheryl Tweedy), Kimberley Walsh and Nicola Roberts from their formation on TV show Popstars: The Rivals in 2002.
