Nadine Coyle's best friend hints at fractured Girls Aloud amid row rumours

Nadine Coyle's best friend has added fuel to the Girls Aloud feud fire after hinting that the girl group were fractured.

Appearing on Lorraine today, Sophie Atkins spoke about her support for Nadine while she was in the jungle and addressed her pal's background in the famous girl group.

In an attempt to seek answers, Lorraine Kelly began speaking about the rumoured tension in the band, remarking that "everyone wants them to fall out".

Sophie responded by saying: "Not everyone does get on when you work with people."

This comes after Kimberley Walsh's comments yesterday that she found it hard to "click" with Nadine.

She said on Loose Women: "Yeah [I was more friendly with Cheryl and Nicola]. It is true genuine real connection between us three."

The trio - whom Nadine claimed often left her out - have continued to stay close pals following the end of their band.

She added: "With Sarah and Nadine, it was more of a work relationship but it's like family you'd feel for them. You don't see them all the time."

However Sophie today insisted: "Yeah she had a great time in Girls Aloud and she loved being in a girl group."

Asked whether there was any potential for a reunion in the future, Sophie said: "I'm not sure, she has mentioned it before that there could be a tour…"
