Brent Naden has signed a contract extension that will keep him at Wests Tigers until at least the end of 2025.

Naden, 26, left Canterbury after Trent Barrett stepped down as coach earlier this year and joined the Tigers mid-season.

He had already been contracted until the end of next year but would have been free to negotiate with rival clubs for 2024 from November 1.

Naden joins fellow outside backs Starford To'a and Asu Kepaoa in re-signing with the Tigers in the past week.

"From the moment I arrived this year the club has made us feel very welcome, and I'm delighted to extend my stay," he said.

"I think there are a lot of things to be excited about in the years to come, including the new coaching structure, the centre of excellence, and the great young players we have coming through the junior rep teams.

"Right now, I'm just looking forward to doing my bit to help the team finish the season strongly."

A member of Penrith's 2020 grand final team, Naden has played six games for the Tigers and scored two tries in the side's infamous 27-26 loss to North Queensland in round 19.

He will line up for the Tigers on the wing against Cronulla on Saturday at Scully Park, Tamworth.
