Nada Stojanovska has been brightening the world around her for more than a century.
The much-loved member of Newcastle's Macedonian community celebrated her 100th birthday on Friday.
Some of her favourite things include watering the chillis and tomatoes in her garden, spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and having a drink of Rakija, Macedonian moonshine, every morning.
She also used to enjoy going to church regularly before osteoporosis made it difficult.
Mrs Stojanovska first moved to Australia in 1988 with her late husband Jonce.
She now lives with her daughter-in-law and carer Vera and grandson Jove.
Grandson Tim Stojanovski said she was a "one of a kind" woman.

"She's a very giving, very generous lady and just the most polite and welcoming person," he said.
"When you meet her she's always got a smile on her face."
On Tuesday, Macdeonian Community Newcastle presented Mrs Stojanovska with a gift.
On Saturday she will celebrate with family and friends at Charlestown.
