N’Keal Harry shows appreciation for Patriots fans after an up-and-down season

N’Keal Harry’s rookie season didn’t go as planned.

He was drafted No. 32 overall by the New England Patriots and expectations were sky-high. Bill Belichick never drafted a rookie in the first round, so that pressure was on his shoulders, along with the idea of acclimating himself into an offense with a 42-year-old Tom Brady. Harry needed to start quick, but that was shut down after he sustained a hamstring injury in the preseason that sent him to the injured reserve list.

He had enough time to rest up, but he was still expected to come in and play an instrumental role in the offense. Things didn’t workout that way and it became a frustrating situation for all parties. He played in seven regular season games and had 12 catches for 105 yards and two touchdowns — along with five rushes for 49 yards.

It was a tough way to begin an NFL career, but he made sure to shoutout Patriots fans and everyone who supported him along with the way.

It’s unclear whether or not Brady will return to New England next season, but Harry will be ready play with whoever’s at the helm.
