N'Golo Kante's transfer stance at Chelsea amid Paris Saint-Germain interest

Chelsea midfielder N'Golo Kante has said that he is happy at Stamford Bridge, despite interest from League 1 giants Paris Saint-Germain.

The Frenchman has started the last two Premier League games for the Blues, after an injury hit start to the season, scoring his team's opening goal in the 2-1 defeat to Manchester City on Saturday.

Since moving from Leicester City in 2016, Kante has become a key player for Chelsea, and his form since arriving in the Premier League has seen reported interest from other clubs, including Paris Saint-Germain.

However, the player has moved to ease Blues' fans worries that he could push for a return to his home country by saying that he is feels good at the club and the direction that it is heading.

"Sometimes we do not necessarily know where we want to go. But we know what we have. I know I was in Chelsea and I was good there," Kante told Canal+ (via the Evening Standard).

"If I did not want to come to PSG it was more a sporting choice.

"I felt good in London, in the project and I was happy to stay there.”

The latest statement comes after Kante said earlier in the month he hopes to stay and win more silverware at Silverware at Stamford Bridge in the near future.

"When I arrived at Chelsea, I was at Leicester and I had just won my first title with a club," he told Telefoot.

"Today at Chelsea, I have had three wonderful years winning titles. I think that it is a club that has helped me a lot and I hope that I will be able to win a lot more titles here."
