N'Golo Kante's incredible record after Europa League final that cannot be matched in England

There are not many footballers more popular among fans than Chelsea midfielder N'Golo Kante. The quietly spoken Frenchman does most of his talking on the field, tackling and intercepting at a rate that sometimes seems subhuman.

The 28-year-old was a major injury doubt for the Blues ahead of the Europa League final against Arsenal last night (Wednesday), but played through the pain barrier in order to help his team lift the trophy after a 4-1 win against their London rivals.

That win is the fourth club trophy that Kante has won since his arrival in England from French club Caen in the summer of 2015. The trophy haul includes two Premier League titles (one with Leicester in 2016, the second with Chelsea in 2017), one FA Cup and now the Europa League. That is of course not forgetting the World Cup that he won with national side France last summer.

The 2017 PFA player of the year has, in fact, won at least one trophy every season since his arrival in England.

The midfielder joined Chelsea in the summer of 2016, after playing an integral part in Leicester's unexpected maiden Premier League win. He became one of very few players to have lifted the title with different clubs in consecutive seasons when lifting the same trophy with the Blues in 2017 under the guidance of Antonio Conte.

Kante has played a slightly different role under current Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri, but the influence of the World Cup Winner has still been felt by the Blues. The popularity of the Frenchman also continues to soar amongst Chelsea fans as well as neutral football fans.

There has been a lot of love for Kante since his latest trophy. Here are some of the best tweets about the midfielder.
