N-Dubz star Fazer discovers baby twins' gender as he throws reveal party with girlfriend

N-Dubz star Fazer has announced he is expecting twins - a baby boy and a baby girl - with his girlfriend Ashley Havelin.

The rapper, 35, whose real name is Richard Rawson, threw a gender reveal party at his home in London, with Ashley, who is five months pregnant, and their nine-year-old daughter, Ava Rose.

The family looked over the moon as they popped confetti cannons and balloons to discover the sex of their unborn children.

"I would have been happy with twin girls, but deep down I wanted a boy. If there had been four females in the household and me I would have felt so ganged up on. I’d have gone grey early," Fazer told The Sun.

“So I’m really excited to be having one of each. Although, my daughter is a bit of a tomboy at the moment, I’m looking forward to doing traditional boy activities with my son. I’ll definitely take him to Manchester United football games."

Ashley added: "I was relieved when we popped the second balloon and it was a boy, as I was worried about Fazer being outnumbered by us all. We are quite demanding."

Fazer announced Ashley was pregnant with twins in a sweet post last month.

He told the publication at the time: "'It's double trouble - We have been blessed. It totally blew us away, we've been walking on air since we found out the news we are expecting twins."

It's an exciting year for Fazer who will reunite with his bandmates Dappy and Tulisa at the end of the year after a decade-long hiatus.

Rappers Dappy, real name Costadinos Contostavlos, his cousin Tulisa Contostavlos and Fazer appeared on BBC Radio 1Xtra to discuss their plans.

Their surprise announcement was followed by the release of new single Charmer and a tour is planned for November 2022.

Dappy told host Reece Parkinson: “Don’t worry, you’ll see what we’ve got planned. Now there’s social media, you can just drop a freestyle.

“Just watch what we’ve got for you. There’s TikTok and that. It’s so exciting.”

The band’s first two albums, Uncle B and Against All Odds, were certified platinum in the UK.

In 2009, they hit number one on the UK singles chart with Number One, a collaboration with Tinchy Stryder.

They have won four Mobo awards, including best newcomer in 2007, best album and best act in 2009 and best song in 2010 and were nominated for the Brit award for best British single in 2010.

The group originally announced plans for a two-year hiatus to focus on their solo careers in 2011 but have not released any new material since.
