Mystery surrounds a tent that was set up in Perth’s Rodney Gardens earlier this week.
The tent was spotted by passers-by wondering what was going on.
The council has now reported it to the police, but a spokesperson admitted the local authority was also at a loss as to its purpose.

They told the PA: “We visited Rodney Gardens on Wednesday, April 15 and noted the presence of a fairly small tent on site.
“However, on our visit we found no possessions or other signs of anyone using the tent to sleep in.
“Clearly no-one should be using this green space in this way, and particularly during the current coronavirus lockdown.
“We have reported the matter to Police Scotland, in line with the national guidance on social distancing.”
