The mysterious circumstances surrounding a car blaze in an Ayrshire field are being investigated by police.
The motor was discovered ablaze in a field just outside Galston in the early hours of this morning.
It's understood that the car, believed to be a red Volkswagen Polo, crashed through a fence before bursting into flames.

Police say that nobody was in the vehicle when they attended the scene and nobody has presented as injured at this time.
The burnt shell of the vehicle was still at the scene on the B7037 near to Cessnock Castle this afternoon.
A Police Scotland spokesman said: "We were made aware of a car on fire near Galston around 12.55am on Saturday, May 15.

"Nobody was within the vehicle and nobody has presented as injured at this time.
"Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances."
