Mystery shoppers needed to test major supermarkets' pizza, cakes and wine

Mystery shoppers are being recruited to test the customer service of Waitrose and Ocado.

Redwigwam, a temporary work booking platform which serves workers and hirers throughout the UK, is recruiting the mystery shoppers.

A mystery shopper presents themselves as a normal shopper to ensure low item stock is restocked on time.

Theyr must ask a variety of questions about a product that is either missing and in the warehouse, or has the wrong ticket price or is damaged.

Mystery shoppers are required to purchase an item when shopping, however, it will be reimbursed by Redwigwam and the shopper will receive a fixed fee for completing the job.

There’s a range of mystery shopping jobs that have involved shopping for many items from pizzas and cakes, to wine and gin.

A spokesperson for Redwigwam said: “Mystery shopping is important as it helps to improve customer service.

“Brands increasingly use external parties to evaluate the retail and sales process from a customer’s point of view. Brands can often learn about issues they never imagined or assumed would be a problem.”

Redwigwam offers payment within 24 hours and provides training, pays at least the minimum wage, covers tax, National Insurance, holiday pay and pension.
