Mystery man handing strangers notes in the middle of Liverpool

A young man has been praised for reminding a family there are "still good people" in Liverpool.

John Rempart was in the city centre yesterday (Thursday) when he saw a kind-hearted "young gentleman" approaching two homeless women.

The man is also said to have gone up to every homeless person he saw on Lord Street.

John told the ECHO : "Around midday me and my family spotted a young gentleman walking up and down Lord Street handing out five pound notes to every homeless person while giving out food to every one of them.

"We then then spotted him again giving two women each money. We didn't get a chance to stop him, but it made our family appreciate that good people are still in this city."
