A mystery hero has left inspirational notes to help anyone struggling with mental health issues at a Scots bridge.
Hand written messages were spotted along the David Livingstone bridge in a desperate attempt to save lives.
The emotional gestures urged readers to remember they are 'loved' and to call Samaritans if they felt low.

One person crossing the bridge said the notes are 'restoring faith in human beings'.
One note said: "Just when a caterpillar thought the world was over, it became a butterfly.
"The moment you're ready to quit is usually the moment right before a miracle happens....
"Call 116-123."
A second note said: "Please stop and think... you are loved."
A third person said: "There can't be any sunshine without a little rain."
"Call Samaritans on 116-123."

One Scot who was out walking was blown away by the thoughtful notes and shared snaps of the messages online.
They said: "They definitely restored my faith in human beings.
"I only wish I knew who was behind it. It's beautiful.
"In such hard times hopefully it can change someone's mind at their lowest."
