Mystery Hearts individual celebrates goal v Alloa by shouting 'there's yer f*****g medicine'

Hearts extended their lead at the top of the Scottish Championship to seven points with a win at Alloa, strengthening their position at the summit of the second tier as they bid for an immediate return to the top flight.

Goals from Andy Irving, Elliott Frear and Josh Ginnelly secured a 3-1 win at the Indodrill Stadium as the Tynecastle side avoided a repeat of their Betfred Cup humiliation with a win in Clackmannashire.

But one member of the travelling Gorgie party clearly enjoyed the exclamation point being put on that victory more than others.

In the aftermath of Ginnelly's 93rd minute strike, rolled into an empty net after The Waps threw Neil Parry up for a stoppage time corner as they chased a late equaliser, a Hearts representative can be heard making a thinly-veiled jibe at Alloa boss Peter Grant.

In the growing beef between the two clubs, Grant took Hearts manager Robbie Neilson to task following their shock Cup victory over the Gorgie outfit in November, suggesting the Jambos boss 'take his medicine' after he was enraged by a penalty decision going against his side.

It clearly did not sit well with the Hearts group, who took plenty of joy in seeing Ginnelly seal the win.

In a video posted on social media, one clearly says "there's yer f*****g medicine" after the ball trickles over the line.

Jambo Daniel McIver heard the celebratory exclamation in a highlight of the goal posted on Twitter and pointed it out to the adoration of the Gorgie faithful.

He wrote: "Someone at 15 seconds shouts 'There's your f*****g medicine' and I need to know who that is so I can love them forever."

Hundreds of Hearts fans have echoed that sentiment, with speculation rife over who it was ranging from Neilson himself to Gary Locke.

Others suspected it may have been Hearts TV commentator Laurie Dunsire, who revealed on social media that the lack of facilities at the Indodrill Stadium meant coverage of the match would be similar to "a match in the 70s on an old transistor radio."

Alloa jumped on that complaint in their pre-match Tweet, stoking the flames between the clubs.

With one more game to go between the pair this season, it is unlikely the new found rivalry will going anywhere soon.
