Dogs are being struck down with a mystery illness leaving them lethargic and thin as walkers say pathways are covered in puppy diarrhoea.
Vets are warning that the virus which started on beaches and coastal areas is spreading fast from dog to dog and is even being seen in town parks.
Dog owners are rushing their furry friends to clinics after they appear to have no energy as the sickness bug is reportedly spreading like wildfire.
Many are reporting that their pets are falling in shortly after going for a walk.
One woman in Leeds said she "keeps seeing piles of diarrhoea" on the streets where she lives and in the picturesque Temple Newsam park as the dogs struggle to get home.

Jennifer Griffin said her 15-month-old puppy fell violently ill a matter of hours after finishing a walk at the same park in Leeds.
She told Leeds Live : "He’s shaking, has a temperature, he’s vomiting loads, lethargic, not eating anything."
She added that she took her dog Vader to the vets, where she was told he had likely contracted the mystery illness.
"We have to watch him for 48 hours to make sure he doesn’t get dehydrated.
"The vet said it may take a week or more to recover," she added.
Just days earlier Nicola Jane said her dog, a six-month-old Lurcher, became extremely poorly just a few hours after a walk by a canal and she thought her pup might die.
She added: "He is a mess, he is like a skeleton he is that skinny. He lost that much weight.
"There was nothing on him, no life, he was limp, I thought he was gone, I thought I was losing him."

Cases have been reported at Hayling Island beach and Langstone Harbour in Hampshire, Fraisthorpe Beach in East Riding, Bridlington, Redcar and Saltburn beaches in Yorkshire and Scarborough.
The bug was also thought to be moving inland to towns and cities, with vets reporting incidents in Hebden Bridge, York, and Sheffield.
Earlier this month The Mirror told about a more than a hundred dogs which had been struck down with similar symptoms.
Veterinary nurse Brogan Proud, who runs Yorkshire Coast Pet Care posted a message on Facebook where she said that she had been "inundated" with ill dogs that have been vomiting and suffering from diarrhoea.
She said that local authorities were investigating what is behind the illness and that worryingly a lot more dogs have been affected than she previously thought as more people have contacted her.
"As it's gone so public, it just seems to be much higher numbers than I thought.
"I know the local authorities have been testing, they can't find anything as of yet"
One person posted on a group in Hebden Bridge said: "The dog sickness bug is spreading here like wildfire.
"My dog came down it on Thursday and I had only taken her to school and back!"
