A mystery ticketholder has claimed a EuroMillions jackpot worth a staggering £58.3million while the country is in the grips of the coronavirus crisis.
The eight-figure prize was won by a single ticketholder on Friday night, making them richer than the likes of One Direction's Harry Styles, Harry Potter star Emma Watson and boxing champion Anthony Joshua, said Camelot.
The claim will now go through the usual validation process.
It was the second-biggest EuroMillions prize in the UK this year and it is 20th on the list of biggest jackpot winners.
Andy Carter, of Camelot, the National Lottery operator, said: “It is wonderful news that a lucky ticketholder has claimed this incredible prize.

"We will now focus on supporting the ticketholder through the validation and help them start to enjoy their win.
"During the current crisis, we’d like to encourage as many players as possible to check their tickets and play online or on the National Lottery app, and to only buy their tickets in retail or claim a retail prize if they are already in-store to do an essential shop.”
A Camelot spokesperson added: This is the second EuroMillions jackpot winner in the UK this year and they will occupy 20th place on The National Lottery Rich List of the biggest jackpot winners.
"This incredible win will make them as rich as pop superstar Harry Styles, matching his £58million fortune, according to The Sunday Times Rich List.
"It will also make them even richer than wizarding wonder Emma Watson, who is worth £52million, and boxing sensation Anthony Joshua who is worth £49million.
"Last year, there were seven UK EuroMillions jackpot winners including the UK’s biggest ever winner.
"The anonymous ticketholder banked a mammoth £170million EuroMillions jackpot on 8 October 2019."
Up to 300million of National Lottery funds will go to UK charities during the coronavirus crisis, said Camelot.
