This is the dramatic moment police in riot gear took up position outside a house in Ayrshire earlier this afternoon following reports of an Easter Sunday disturbance.
Officers rushed to Herbertson Crescent in Irvine at lunchtime, sealing off the street with an army of 16 emergency vehicles.
Police and the fire brigade are currently in attendance as police deal with an ongoing incident.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "We can confirm officers are currently in attendance following a report of a disturbance within a property in Irvine."
