Mystery as porn star's brother fighting for life after night out 'not attacked'

A porn star's brother who is fighting for his life after being discovered in a critical condition was not attacked, police have said.

Daven Thomas, 21, was rushed to hospital on Sunday morning in mysterious circumstances after he was found in Liverpool city centre.

Police issued the update this morning, and although it is believed he was on a night out with friends, little is known about his whereabouts after about 3am, reports the Liverpool Echo.

BREAKING:

The popular younger brother of Tanya Tate, a glamour model and adult star based in Los Angeles, remains in intensive care on a life support machine.

His distraught family have been keeping a vigil by his hospital bedside, while Tanya was yesterday jetting back to the UK to be with her family.

Appealing for any witnesses to come forward, Beth Thomas, Daven's sister, said: "Can anyone help us with any information about where my little brother was on Saturday night through to Sunday morning?

"Who he was with? Or if anyone has seen him?

"We are trying to piece together what has happened and we need any information anyone can give us...someone knows something and we need to find out."

Although there were reports Daven had been in Aura nightclub on Slater Street, the bar's bosses have told the Liverpool Echo that having reviewed their CCTV footage they don't believe that is accurate.

Relatives say he was seen getting into a black taxi at about 1.40am on Lark Lane in Aigburth.

A good friend of Daven, from north Liverpool, said: "He's currently not in the best of ways. We're all praying for him.

"This has hit me hard.

"Daven is an unbelievable lad, one of the nicest people I've ever met."

Police and the North West Ambulance Service were called to an address at 10.30am in the city centre, following a report of concern about Daven's safety.
