Mystery surrounds a much-loved Liverpool ONE store this afternoon after it closed unexpectedly.
The doors of Morphe, which is based on Paradise Street, were closed today with signs placed in the shop's windows apologising to customers.
The make-up brand opened in Liverpool ONE back in May 2019 and has a huge following in the city, however fans were unable to stock up on its beauty products today.
Signs in the windows read: "To our loyal beauty community.
"Unfortunately we had to close our store today. Our products will still be available 24/7 on morphe.com"
The reason behind the closure remains unclear but the ECHO has contacted Morphe and Liverpool ONE for a comment and we'll bring you the latest updates on this as soon as we receive them.
It's not clear at this stage when the store will be reopening.
Morphe reopened its doors on Thursday, June 25 following a UK lockdown which saw all non-essential stores forced to close.
No other Morphe stores based in the UK seem to be affected by the closure today.
