People walking through St Helens this morning are talking about the mystery behind a plane seen flying a touching tribute banner.
Maria Estrella Parker posted a photograph of the banner on social media and a message which read: "Just seen a plane flying over thought I'd post it for whoever this message belongs too."
The banner carried the touching message: "You did it your way Granny and Grandad."
The photograph of the banner was posted on the People of St Helens Facebook group, and sparked plenty of response from members.
