Mystery as over 100 ducks discovered in Forteviot

A 100-strong flock of ducklings were found huddled together in a Perthshire village.

Police officers were left puzzled after spotting the hoard near to a road.

They discovered the birds on the B935 road to Forteviot on Saturday, July 28 and ushered them away from the roadside.

Police Scotland’s Tayside division posted pictures of the ducklings on social media, with many people responding offering to rehome the birds.
