Detectives carried out a finger-tip search after a mum-of-two was found dead in a home.
Kirsty Robertson, 29, was discovered this week at a property in Ayr, Scotland.
Forensic teams have been conducting a finger-tip search of the street in a bid to solve the "unexplained" death.
News of her death has stunned the community, with friends flooding social media with tributes, the Daily Record reports.
Yasmin Buchanan said: “I really can’t believe this. This is so sad.
“How is this possible? You have two lovely babies. My heart is broken for them.
“Sleep tight beautiful- you’ll always be in our hearts and memories. Loved by so many.”
Kayleigh Boal said: “Still can’t get my head round all of this; the most strongest girl, and to bring up two beautiful children so amazingly with everything you have been through in life. Absolutely heartbreaking.”

A Police Scotland spokesman said: "Around 11.30am on October 20, a 29-year-old woman was found dead within a house.
"Following a post-mortem examination the death is being treated as unexplained and further forensic tests are being carried out.
"A report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal."
