Ryan Tubridy left fans breathless with excitement this evening with a "strange" update on his whereabouts – fuelling further Late Late Toy Show speculation as the country scrambles for information ahead of the big night.
The RTE star posted an eerie-looking video on his Instagram story, framing himself in black and white and telling his 150,000 followers: "I'm doing something quite strange, and a little bit different, tonight."
In the video, captioned "A peculiar night at the office", Tubs added: "I can't tell you the why, the where, or anything else, really, in between.
"But we're having a lot of fun – and all will be revealed."
It's not fully clear where Tubs took the video – but the TV emoji in the caption left many speculating that the 47-year-old is working late ahead of the hotly anticipated Late Late Toy Show at the end of the month.
If that's the case, then tonight's update marks the latest in a string of Toy Show-themed teasers dropped by Tubridy in the last month.
The festive favourite is a smash hit among Irish audiences every year, but it seems likely that this year's will be an even bigger event than any that has come before.

And Tubs has even taken time off to keep his powder dry for the big night – leaving his regular radio listeners crestfallen with his decision to take last week off.

Tubs informed his listeners that he was engrossed in a sea of "red, white and blue" politics.
