Yellow posters have started appearing on walls all over Leeds in a bid to encourage people to open up about the mental wellbeing.
The brightly-coloured signs are dotted in every corner of Leeds, from Hyde Park to Hunslet and Belle Isle to Yeadon, as part of the city-wide project.
The R U OK campaign was started by 25-year-old Billy White, whose message about his own struggles with mental health went viral earlier this year.
Billy was inspired by the thousands of messages of support sent his way and decided to launch a brand new social media channel where he can help those in a similar position.
He said: "I received thousands of messages asking for personal advice, as they did not feel comfortable speaking to a professional.
"So I started R U OK as a more personal messaging service, as some people don’t feel comfortable speaking on the phone or face-to-face with people and speaking about their problems. I personally found it easier speaking on a message than in person.
"My aim is to help and support people, and offer the best advice that I have been told myself."
While Billy is simply offering basic advice based on his own experiences for now, he is looking to go one step further in the coming months.
"I am currently awaiting professional training to further be able to aid those in need," he said.
"I think it’s a very difficult time for everybody and we all need to stick together and support each other.
"Be kind, you never know what's happening inside someone’s head."
