Mysterious Miss M from Lanarkshire scoops £2million on National Lottery

A mystery Lanarkshire admin worker has bagged a £2million lotto win.

Known only as Miss M, the woman has already splashed out on a new house.

She bought her Lucky Dip ticket using the National Lottery app, the East Kilbride News reports.

And she stuck lucky matching six main numbers in the July draw.

Miss M is the second big winner from Lanarkshire in the same month.

A man, known only as Mr W, scooped £10,000 a month for a year.

Playing online via the website or app means that your ticket is checked, and you get an email notification if you win a prize.

Camelot's Andy Carter said, "Huge congratulations to Miss. M for winning this fantastic prize.  After a few simple taps, she has become a millionaire overnight and can look forward to enjoying her new home."

Thanks to National Lottery players, up to £600 million is being used to support the most vulnerable in communities across the UK during the coronavirus crisis.

By playing The National Lottery, £30 million is raised every week on average by National Lottery players for projects big and small across the country.

Hundreds of millions of pounds is being distributed to charities and local voluntary organisations over the next few months to help support people through the Covid-19 crisis.
