A mystery message in a bottle addressed to a woman from Glasgow or near to the city has washed up on a remote beach in Ireland.
The message in the bottle, written in Romanian, was found on Arklow South Beach in County Wicklow around an hour's drive from Dublin by a member of the public.
Dated December 21, the two-page letter notes (in English): "This letter is written in Romanian language. If you find it, please give it to the being I love. My name is Silviu and my girlfriend leave in Scotland, Glasgow".
With the second, lengthy part of the letter (translated from Romanian), says: "My soul, it is yours. Hello, my darling! I don't even know how to express in words the emotions I experience for you! For you, my dear!
"I am so happy to know you and that you are part of my life and if you only knew how peaceful my heart is when I think of you. If you knew how I smile and my eyes sparkle with happiness when I look to the sky and I still think of you.
"How I would love to actually meet you and share our feelings, have dinner, run holding hands and hug looking into each other's eyes. You are so dear to me, Alexandra, I want to hold you in my arms, kiss you on the forehead and protect you from this mean world.
"I wish that you would be the woman I belong to, body and soul, nothing and no one to break us apart. I wish that you and only you be the one I tell I LOVE YOU. At night I bring you in my prayers, I smile and I fall asleep.
"Then, in the morning when I wake up, I open my eyes and I say 'Thank you, God, that I have this wonderful friend' and I wonder 'how is she doing?', 'Is she well, my darling?' And I think to send a 'Good morning' because I know she will see it and answer back.
"She isn't indifferent and I can say that she is a cerebral woman, strong and independent. She knows the value of the hard earned money and I can also say that she is an intelligent woman.
