MySpace, the social networking site, is to use Britain as a beachhead for a push into Europe. Chris DeWolfe, its co-founder and chief executive, told the Financial Times that he had earmarked 11 countries for expansion, including France and Germany, and was also looking at China and India for the future. MySpace, which was bought last year for $580m by Rupert Murdoch's News Corporation, has is the biggest networking site with 86m users. (Via Companies news – Media and internet – FT.com)
