Myles Turner’s dunk on Gordon Hayward almost had a Celtics player celebrating

The Indiana Pacers went into Sunday’s Game 4 against the Celtics down 3-0 in the opening-round series. Facing a scenario that no NBA team has overcome, the Pacers crowd at Bankers Life Fieldhouse was quiet for much of the first half.

They can thank Myles Turner for waking them up.

With just under three minutes remaining in the second quarter, Turner drove past Al Horford off a ball fake and went airborne … right through Gordon Hayward.

As ridiculous as the posterizing dunk was, keep an eye on the Celtics’ Semi Ojeleye at the end of the bench. Turner’s dunk was so vicious and so electrifying that he almost celebrated it as if the dunk was done by a Celtics player.

He caught himself at the last moment and managed to remain seated. But that flinch was noticeable. Ojeleye ultimately settled for grabbing a teammate’s arm.

But let’s be fair to Ojeleye, that dunk was awesome. It’s difficult to witness that kind of posterization up close without a reaction.
